What does the Riverland KW-FBM Program offer students?
Accounting procedures assistance:– Farm account book training.– Computerized farm accounting.
Annual farm records close-out and taxes preparation assistance:
Annual farm business analysis (FINAN) and follow-up: Cash flow generation (FINFLO), assistance and follow-up.
Riverland KW-FBM Program Continued:
Decision making assistance on enterprises being evaluated within the farming operation.
Farm tax estimation assistance. Adult computer continuing education training courses. Marketing discussion and the development of an annual
marketing plan. Goal setting carried out for short-term, intermediate and long-
term goals.
Riverland KW-FBM Program Continued:
Decision making assistance relative to making changes within respective enterprises within the farming operation.
Government program information and awareness to pending or existing programs.
Instruction relative to the tuition based program offered through Riverland Community College taught through scheduled classes or on-site instruction.

No two people handle their jobs exactly the same but the same duties are addressed in meeting the goals and objectives of the individual FBM department/

Each instructor develops his own daily plan, which is known to the other instructors in the department. This daily plan is subject to change at any time in this business, however.

Daily scheduling is the responsibility of the individual instructor with certain protected dates and times.
– Office hours
The Typical FBM Instructor Day:
The daily work schedule is 8-10 hours or more to accomplish the objectives of the program. Some periods of the year demand more hours than others.

The Typical FBM Instructor Week:
Each instructor develops his own weekly plan, which is known to the other instructors in the department. The weekly plan is subject to change at any time in this business, however.

– Office hours

The weekly work schedule is 40-50 hours or more to accomplish the objectives of the program. Some periods of the year demand more hours than others.
