Position: Project Coordinator – Nutrition Number of Positions: 01

Requirements: - University Degree in Nutrition or Public Health from HEC recognized institution.

- A strong understanding of malnutrition and micronutrients deficiencies - 5+ years of relevant experience. - Previous working experience in emergency set-up in an international organization as a

Project Coordinator will be an edge. - Skilled in management, organizing and supervision. - Impressive Program report writing skills as well as analytical capabilities. - Able to work in resource limited and harsh environment. - This position requires frequent travelling to field sites. - Fluency in English & knowledge of regional languages of the duty station an asset. - Computer proficiency is a Must.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance, training and ongoing supportive supervision to field program staff to enhance effective program implementation in the area of CMAM and IYCF.

Ensure that all activities are conducted in a timely, cost and quality effective manner and conform the internationally accepted standards (SPHERE) and country CMAM guidelines

Monitor and analyze program performance in order to identify and address the issues if necessary

Prepare monthly technical reports to the Medical/ Program Director and Country Director according to donor requirements and International Medical Corps procedures.

Prepare annual and quarterly work plan and budget that identify key objectives, responsible staff, deliverables and potential roadblocks.

Document best practices and lessons learned

Conduct needs assessment and prepare proposals identifying needs, program modalities, budget and staffing

Excellent representation and coordination skills working with MoH and nutrition Clusters and other stakeholders.

Ensure that all staff is effectively conducting awareness, prevention, and treatment of micronutrient deficiencies sessions in target areas of intervention.

Ensure that supplies under International Medical Corps supervision are available and properly managed in collaboration with procurement, logistics and other relevant staff.

Provide technical advice and support to other project staff on integration of micronutrient activities into ongoing health, nutrition and other programs to ensure programming objectives are successfully achieved.

Pursue new sources of donor funding for micronutrient interventions and maintain adequate donor funding levels to sustain identified program and support activities.

Oversee the field staff, recommend promotions, disciplinary action and termination of staff in consultation with supervisors.

Make frequent site visits to ensure that appropriate care and training are being conducted and to offer support to field staff.

Maintain open lines of communications with all field staff.

Determine training needs for the field staff.

Maintain frequent communication with Country Director to ensure program activities and objectives are communicated and on target.

Ensure that the micronutrient program is coordinated with finance, logistics, and other existing programs.

Position: Nutrition Officers/ Team Leaders Number of Positions: 02 Requirements: - M.B.B.S or University Degree in Nutrition or Public Health from HEC recognized institution.

- 2+ years of relevant experience running nutrition projects. - Previous working experience in emergency set-up in an international organization in the

same category will be an edge. - Analytical approach in training and capacity building of the program staff. - Able to work in resource limited and harsh environment. - This position requires frequent travelling to field sites. - Fluency in English & knowledge of regional languages of the duty station an asset. - Computer proficiency is a Must.

Responsibilities:

Undertakes responsibility for developing sector-and-project-specific work plans and activities related to nutrition and facilitates compliance with specific assigned objectives and targets.

Support the OTP and SFP assistance to implement high quality CMAM activities and adequate monitoring and evaluation in the focus district.

Review and compile progress reports and statistical data analysis with specific reference to nutrition.

Undertakes field visits to monitor programs, as well as conducting periodic program reviews to identify gaps, obstacles and needs.

Draft project status reports required for donors, budget review, Programme analysis, annual reports and share with Project Coordinator.

Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patient or client.

Position: Outpatient Therapeutic Program (OTP) Supervisor Number of Positions: 29 Requirements: - Diploma in Nursing or LHV or Dispensing or Bachelors in Nutrition from HEC recognized institution.

- 2+ years of previous experience in CMAM and IYCF. - Previous experience of managing OTP site according to CMAM guidelines. - Previous working experience in emergency set-up in an international organization in the

same category will be an edge. - Able to work in resource limited and harsh environment. - Good behavior with the patients and staff. - This position requires frequent visits to the villages in the field and in the remote areas

through different mode of travelling and sometimes long distance walking to sites. - Understanding of English & knowledge of regional languages of the duty station an asset.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat children with severe acute malnutrition according to CMAM protocol

Ensure proper registration and recording of admitted children

Ensure the availability of supplies in each OTP and supervise the staff using standard checklists and protocols.

Conduct awareness sessions on IYCF.

Provide counseling to mothers on good maternal nutrition during pregnancy and lactation. Check the way in which the team interacts with the beneficiaries and those accompanying them.

Follow up visits to the beneficiaries during visits at home and proper recording.

Analysis of the nutritional situation of the program area and report to the Nutrition officer timely and efficiently.

Compile the statistical data and draft a report on activities, share with Nutrition officer on daily basis.

Position: Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) Assistant Number of Positions: 29 Requirements: - Diploma in Nursing or LHV or Dispensing or Bachelors in Nutrition from HEC recognized institution

Provide referral for children with Severe Acute Malnutrition with or without complications.

Manage the Infant and young child feeding (IYCF) component of the health centre.

Responsibilities:

To supervise the OTP and SFP facilities day-to-day management.

To provide direct preventive, curative patient care.

Keep a record of OPD in routine on desired scheduled and provide monthly reports on program activities to the management.

Appropriate referrals of patients and follow ups both with OTP and SFP.

To coordinate operational and logistic activities at the facilities, consistent with protocols and budget lines aiming to achieve the targets and objectives.

To provide immediate report of suspected epidemic diseases.

To meet regularly with the BHU teams and share the issues/ problems timely.

Responsible for medicine stock control, both record and dissemination as per International Medical Corps procedures and standards.

In coordination with Nutrition officers and Project Coordinator prepare the forecast for medicines and nutrition commodities and regularly monitor the stock.

Responsibilities:

To supervise the OTP and SFP facilities day-to-day management.

Nutritional Screening of all the children pregnant women and lactating mothers.

Admit eligible children in SFP and OTP Program.

Arrange, organize and conduct IYCF and nutrition education sessions at the health facility.

Maintain and report the SFP /OTP supplies record properly at the respective health facility.

Systematic reporting of community nutrition screening, health & nutrition education sessions.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparation of lists as per identified affected villages and target beneficiary population in coordination with UN and Govt. officials for recipient of nutrition commodities to be distributed by the facilities.

Preparation of beneficiaries forms and other required by the donor through which International Medical Corps implements programs.

Prepare and share with relevant staff the monthly distribution plan and submit report with requisite documents and information on monthly basis.

Collaborate with program team in field activities as community mobilization, implementation and distributions.

Assist in the monitoring activities as required.

Support the distribution in close collaboration with Distribution officers and Project Coordinator and Logistics department, of all the documentation to be submitted at the end of the program.

Assist in the identification of communities to be selected for mobilization.

Assist in the development of a work plan for participatory appraisal of the selected area.

Carry out social mobilization in rural community by establishing and developing community organizations.

Help the communities to develop a sense of ownership of the activities in and around their village and encourage self-help whenever possible.

Act as a link between the community and organization in smooth implementation of projects.

Keep close coordination with the program & supervisory staff, identify needs of the community and share accordingly.

To promote Understanding and ownership of the program in the communities.

Increase Program coverage through sensitization of communities

Active screening of all children under 5 and PLW in the communities and if necessary referral and follow-up

Assess reasons why people do not access services (barrier to access) and reasons for absence and default so that they can be addressed.

Link prevention of malnutrition and treatment of malnutrition at the community level, so that while children are being effectively treated, the underlying causes can also be addressed.

- Previous experience in use of Nutrition Information System database for any International organization will be considered an Edge.

Responsibilities:

Regular coordination with Nutrition project staff.

Data to be collected from field, compiled, analyzed and corrected before further submission according to MRP standards

Training of the newly inducted staff on NIS.

As & when required refresher trainings for the existing staff.

Follow up with staff in coordination with Nutrition officer on the program trends and routine program data.

Compilation of the stock report on regular basis.

Will be responsible for collecting information and data from facilities.

Position: Warehouse In-charge Number of Positions: 02 Requirements: - A University degree preferably in commerce from HEC recognized institution.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily warehouse activities including ensuring accuracy of supporting documentation.

Receiving incoming commodities as per the protocols of the organization, place it according to the warehousing guidelines.

Dispatching to the field, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.

Regular coordination with supervisory, logistics and field Nutrition project staff.

Establishing work procedures to meet warehouse demands.

To monitor environmental conditions of the warehouse, cold stores and humidity etc.

Ensure that highest quality and safety standards are maintained at all times within the area.

Continuously improve warehouse operations.

Maintain work area clean and in an inspection ready state and clean.

Receives stores, tags and tracks surplus commodities; prepares lists for items to be dispatched.

Ships canceled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate.

Perform daily warehouse activities including ensuring accuracy of supporting documentation.

Store commodities according to the warehousing guidelines.

Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
