Help your body grow, develop, and stay healthy. Performs many different functions, from building strong bones to transmitting nerve impulses.

It is a major component in staying healthy, it helps the brain and nervous system. Not all of the diet should consist of fat but about 30% should.

Simple Also called simple sugars, found in
refined sugar. Gives you energy.

We are composed of over 70% water. Water helps digest food, transport
waste, and control body temperature. Without water we would not be able to
exist.

The Body uses protein to repair and build tissues, and also makes body chemicals needed
