Starting a new tradition, United hosted a sports meet this

year inviting over 14 different colleges from around

allahabad. The sports meet was conducted in 2 days with

athletic events like track running, shot put discuss, javelin

and tug of war and sporting events like football, basketball

and volleyball.

The response was overwelhming with over 700 particitants

in total from all colleges. This marked the first of many

sports and athletics meet to come in the future.

SPORTS MEET

CLUBS & SOCIETIESUnited offers plenty of club and societies to polish the

specific skills and the interest of the students. The

student association at United offers various such clubs

like 'ELECTRUM' which is the Electrical and Electronics

society, the CS & IT society, Mechanical society, HR club

and the Finance club. Non academic oriented clubs like

SPIC-MACAY and Fine Arts society is also on the verge of

introduction.

TECHFESTsTo exhibit the technical aptitude of our budding

engineers, an informative exposition is organized every

year. It started with UNITECHFEST; an annual festival

extravaganza organized at UNITED. In the subsequent

years of roaring success of such FESTS, ENIGMA takes

the cue which is not just a technical event but a platform

bringing together ingenious minds that can showcase

their exuberant talents. Valuable feedbacks are obtained

FOUNDER'S DAYEvery year the United Group of Institutions celebrates its

‘Founder’s Day’ on 13th April to pay a tribute and homage

to and to commemorate the achievements of its Founder,

Late Shri Shiv Ram Das Gulati. World-acclaimed and

renowned personalities from different sectors are invited

to cherish the moments of celebration. Well known

As a next step in this direction, MoU with the Missouri University, Columbia, USA, provides with a framework for a partnership agreement ensuring close cooperation and coordination of efforts concerning training, exchange of experts and scholars, participation in joint conferences etc.
