    NANDA International(formerly the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association) is a

    professional organization of nurses standardizednursing terminology that was officially foundedin 1982 and develops, researches, disseminatesand refines the nomenclature, criteria, andtaxonomy of nursing diagnoses.The Nursing Outcomes Classification(NOC) is a classification system which describes

    patient outcomes sensitive to nursingintervention. The NOC is a system to evaluatethe effects of nursing care as a part of thenursing process.

    The Nursing Interventions Classification(NIC) is a care classification system whichdescribes the activities that nurses perform as apart of the planning phase of the nursing process

    associate with the creation of a nursing careplan.the Omaha System is a standardized healthcare terminology consisting of an assessment

    component (P roblem Classification Scheme), anintervention component (Intervention Scheme),and an outcomes component (P roblem RatingScale for Outcomes).
