PULMONARY CONTUSION Major nursing diagnoses may include the

Ineffective airway clearance related to tracheobronchial obstruction secondary to hemorrhage and localized edema
Impaired gas exchange related to altered oxygen supply
Acute Pain related to trauma
PENETRATING TRAUMA (GUNSHOT/STAB WOUNDS)
Major nursing diagnoses may include the following:

Deficient fluid volume related to active fluid loss due to bleeding
