Catalog Course Description: Within the framework of transitions, the focus is on nursing care to promote healthy transitions for individuals and families with chronic health conditions in well defined practice settings. Emphasis is on basic management concepts and continued development of critical thinking, clinical judgment and skills. Principles of pharmacology, culture, and nutrition are integrated throughout the course.
