Why choose AgriMat?Cows were never designed to walk and lie on concrete. It’s abrasive, slippery and ‘hard as the hammers’. Concrete flooring and walkways are a leading cause of lameness in dairy cows. And the costs are significant.
On hard floors most cows develop claw damage. More than 80% of these injuries are on the outer claw of the hind legs. This is because the outer toe is longer by nature and steps down first, absorbing the peak load.
