About
Num Lighting has designed a modular system with a basic
building block – a decorative LED tile. Like an atom, when
combining a few, one creates his own matter, infused with
his personality, making it greater than the sum.
The Num Lighting tile is a unique light source that, when
connected to another, creates a new world of possibilities.
Each panel can be pulled from the mounting unit and be
rotated in 90◦, 180◦ or 270◦, then reattached magnetically
back on to the unit.
Num Lighting’s Modular Tile System
Technical Details
Deco – The design of the Deco tile draws its inspiration and unique geometry from the
Art Deco style, making use of diagonal ray lines and zigzags.
Design inspiration comes from art, architecture and natural forms, always seeking for
timeless design by using mathematical ratios and geometric shapes.
Cuboids – The design reflects an aesthetic tension between order and disorder: Geometrical
bodies with mathematical laws and golden ratio dimensions, applied randomly onto a surface.
The result is cuboids with a dynamic feel that appear to float in space.
Dune - Ever changing and in constant movement, the Dune
represent nature's dynamics in creating pure forms of beauty.
