Nuclear Education Is Catching Up With the Growing Industry
More and more universities are offering Nuclear Education to catch up with the growing human resource demand of the nuclear sector.
At present, some 40 universities and educational institutions offer nuclear education programs. Over 30 of them offer undergraduate education, and over 20 offer post-graduate education.
Current level of students number around 10000, about 80% undergraduates, and 20% postgraduates.
Current level of annual graduates around 2500.
Assessments indicate that the number of graduates can well meet the human resource demand of the nuclear industry.

TU is a top university in China, worldwide well known.
TU started its nuclear education program in 1956, and
since then a large number of students have graduated who
have played or are playing important roles in the nuclear
sector.
At present, two departments are involved in nuclear
education: Department of Engineering Physics (DEP): Under + Post
Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology (INET): Post
Current level of annual enrollment of full time students: 150-170 undergraduates
170-200 postgraduates
