Suitable for any floor coveringFor optimum performance hard surfaces such as ceramic tiles, slate, stone and marble are recommended as they provide the best transfer of heat.

The low surface temperature of underfloor heating presents no problem with carpet, engineered timber and vinyl floor coverings. Where carpets are chosen, it is recommended that the combined value of carpet and underlays does not exceed 2.5-tog, in order to maintain the efficiency of the underfloor heating.

A floor-temperature limiting thermostat is supplied as standard to be used where sensitive material such as vinyl, linoleum and engineered timber, which have a maximum floor temperature of 27˚C, are chosen.

LoPro™QuickSet leaves a perfectly level finishLoPro™QuickSet is included with every LoPro™Max system. This specialist self-levelling compound has been carefully selected to provide the perfect combination of strength, viscosity and finish. It also levels uneven floors, providing a new level surface that is a perfect base for ceramic tiles or high quality stone finishes.

Repair/level existing floors and seal any gaps

Place edge isolation strip around the sides of the room

Place battens in any doorways

Connect Fastflo™ tube to the Optiflo manifold and pressure test

OPTION 1Connect to existing radiator systemLoPro™Max can be simply connected to an existing radiator system and use the existing heating timer as its master control.

With this option, the thermostat supplied with the system will be able to call for heat in the room during the times set

on the master control. The underfloor heating will switch off when the correct temperature is reached within these times.

Because the system offers response times that are equivalent to a radiator, this method of control is ideal for LoPro™Max.

OPTION 2Bypass the existing system controlsIt is also possible to bypass any existing heating controls so that LoPro™Max can operate independently. This option is more suitable for large rooms or new extensions where independent control of the heating is preferred.

Nu-Heat’s LoPro™Max OneZone provides two alternative ways of controlling the times at which warmth is available in the room.
