Dear Parents and Guardians Over the past two weeks our students have engaged in an inter school house team volleyball competi- tion. This competition has been highly competitive with the culmination of the winning house team to compete against the teacher’s team (Chalkers) this coming Friday. Congratulations to Tasman who once again were victorious and have been waiting all year to once again playoff against the mighty teachers. Tasman are keen for a teacher rematch as they felt last year’s teacher win was only due to the sounding of the bell which gave the teachers the winning advantage. As the captain of the teacher’s team we can’t wait to once again be victorious and carry the flag for the teachers. We wish you well on Friday Tasman, although the teachers confidence is high and we are keen to hang on to the trophy. Make sure you come along and support your school team. Teaching children to knit can be a very rewarding experience and over the past ten weeks our students have engaged in fantastic art/knitting classes as featured at the front of the school. This program has been a wonderful extension to our art program and I would like to thank Ms. Pozy and Mr. Al Oldfield for their amazing contribution to this activity. Please take the time to look at the amazing knitting artifacts around the school and especially the tree in front of the administration area. As always if you are in the school grounds please feel free to drop in and say hello.
