Would this be acceptable evidence?

An alternative way of recording and presenting evidence.

E-portfolio is used to present photos and text to encourage reflective group
learning and evidence of assessment for moderation purposes

Need for change
• Create a better way for evidence to be collected from a programme that was based on experiential learning.
• Introduce an e-portfolio• Re invent assessments
![Page 8: NTLTC 2011 - E Portfolios for assessment evidence with carpentry students](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062514/558bfd2dd8b42af37e8b45b2/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Selecting evidence from practical work
Identify evidence required

ePortfolio 2011
Here we have the fasica nailed up and ready to get checked for straight.
![Page 14: NTLTC 2011 - E Portfolios for assessment evidence with carpentry students](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062514/558bfd2dd8b42af37e8b45b2/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
ePortfolio 2011
Here we are pre drilling holes in the covering so it makes it faster to screw the roof down. We have a glut down under the wood because if we didn’t it would hit the concrete and break the drill.
![Page 15: NTLTC 2011 - E Portfolios for assessment evidence with carpentry students](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062514/558bfd2dd8b42af37e8b45b2/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
ePortfolio 2011
Here we are putting down the underlay. We have the blue rope to help support the under lay. We then put the wood battens down as hold down before we get the covering on it.
![Page 16: NTLTC 2011 - E Portfolios for assessment evidence with carpentry students](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062514/558bfd2dd8b42af37e8b45b2/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)
ePortfolio 2011
Here we are fixing down the roof covering. Here we are making sure that it passes the fascia by 60mm and that the sheets are staying parrallel. This is because if it does not the screws will not be in a straight line.
![Page 17: NTLTC 2011 - E Portfolios for assessment evidence with carpentry students](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062514/558bfd2dd8b42af37e8b45b2/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
ePortfolio 2011
Here we are turning up the covering so if the water gets up under the flashing it will not let the water pass.

Assessment
• Reflects the tasks on their practical work.
• Coincides with building programme
• Less written• Assessment rewritten by
staff
![Page 27: NTLTC 2011 - E Portfolios for assessment evidence with carpentry students](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062514/558bfd2dd8b42af37e8b45b2/html5/thumbnails/27.jpg)
Verification
• Marked live with student.
• Student must have accurate evidence
• Attendance• Non attendance
