PERMITS ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION

PERMIT TO POSSES A certificate or written authority issued by the NTC, authorizing a person, firm, company, association, or corporation to possess a radio transmitter or transceiver. PERMIT TO OWN A certificate issued by the NTC certifying that the holder is the owner of the radio transmitter or transceiver. PERMIT TO TRANSFER A written authority or certificate issued by the NTC to a person, firm, company, association, or corporation authorizing the holder to transfer a radio transmitter or transceiver to another person or entity or to transfer the same to another location. DEALER’S PERMIT A certificate or written authority issued by the NTC to a person, firm, company, association, or corporation, legitimately engaged in business of buying and selling radio transmitters and transceivers.

PURCHASE PERMIT A certificate or written authority issued by the NTC to a person, firm, company, association, or corporation, authorizing the holder to purchase a radio transmitter or transceiver. PERMIT TO IMPORT A certificate or written authority issued by the NTC, authorizing a person, firm, company, association or corporation to import type approved and/or accepted radio communications equipment. (NTC MC No. 9-8-91, August 14, 1991) CONSTRUCTION PERMIT A certificate or written authority issued by the NTC for the construction or installation of a radio station. PERMIT TO SELL A certification or written authority issued by the NTC, authorizing a person, firm, company, association, or corporation to sell a radio transmitter or transceiver to a holder of a Purchase to Permit issued by the NTC. PERMIT TO PURCHASE, SELL, SUPPLY OR GRIND TRANSMITTER CRYSTAL A permit issued by the NTC to any person, company or firm authorizing it to purchase, sell, supply or grind transmitter crystals (ROC Memo. Circular No. 7 dated October 12, 1972)

DEALER’S OR MANUFACTURER’S PERMIT FOR TRANSMITTER CRYSTALS A written certificate of authority issued by the NTC authorizing a person, firm, or company to engage in the business of manufacturing or dealing in transmitter crystals. CRYSTALS CASING:

- trade name - date of manufacture - date of crystal grinding - crystal frequency

PERMIT FOR MOVEMENT OR TRANSPORT OF COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT A permit issued by the NTC authorizing a person to move or transport any communications equipment within a specified period of time. (M. C. No. 33, July 23, 1973, RCO) PERMIT TO DEMONSTRATE/PROPAGATE A written authority issued by the NTC to registered dealers/manufacturers of radio communications equipment allowing them to use certain frequencies for demonstration and/or propagation test procedures. (TCB MC No. 76-8, August 25, 1976)

RADIOCOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT DEALER PERMIT (REDP) A permit issued by the NTC authorizing the holder to engage in the acquisition, servicing, maintenance, purchase or sale of transmitters and/or transceivers, part and accessories. (NTC MC No. 2-05-88) RADIOCOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER PERMIT (REMP) A permit issued by the NTC authorizing the holder to manufacture and/or assemble transmitters and transceivers including, but not valid for solely the manufacture of parts and accessories thereof and other radio station components. (NTC MC No. 2-05-88) RADIOCOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT SERVICE CENTER PERMIT (RESCP) A permit issued by the NTC authorizing the holder to repair or service transmitters and/or transceivers and maintains radio communication equipment and accessories. (NTC MC No. 2-05-88)
