IfoundedtheNutri3onalTherapyAssocia3onovertwentyyearsagoinordertoteachnutri3ontohealthcareprac33oners.Whatbecamealmostimmediatelyapparenttomewasthatinaddi3ontoteachingnutri3onaltherapytodoctors,whatwereallyneededwasawholenewprofessiondedicatedtothepowerofwholefoodsandnutrientstorestoreandmaintainhealth.In2001,inacoopera3veeffortwithSouthPugetSoundCommunityCollege,welaunchedourfirstNutri3onalTherapyTraining(NTT)classandgraduatedourfirstclassoftwenty-sevenNutri3onalTherapyPrac33oners(NTPs).Anewprofessionwasborn.
Sincethat3me,wehavetrainedoversixthousandprac33onersfromaroundtheworld!AlongwithourdedicatedstaffofInstructors,wehavetaughtthecurriculuminvenuesallaroundtheUnitedStates,andnowalsoinAustraliaandCanada.

FUNCTIONAL NUTRITIONAL THERAPY PRACTITIONER PROGRAM
The one year Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) Program couples the flexibility of asynchronous, online study with the benefits of instructor-led conference calls and three in-person workshops. The FNTP qualification is currently only available in Australia and New Zealand. Students will receive access to comprehensive learning materials, reference documents, PowerPoint presentations and videos through Brightspace, the NTA's online learning environment. To take the course, students must have reliable, high-speed internet access and be comfortable working in a primarily online environment.
Courserequirementsconsistofmodule-basedhomeworkandquizzes,bookreviewsonrequiredtexts,acommunityoutreach project,prac9calapplica9onprojects,andaseriesofclient-prac99onerexercises.Therewillbebothin-progressandcomprehensiveexamina9onsthroughoutthecourse.
The3workshopsincludehands-oninstruc9onintheNTA’suniqueFunc9onalClinical Assessment(FCA)andLingual-Neuro Tes9ng process,dietandlifestyleassessments,reviewofcoursematerial,andexamina9ons.
