NSU SPT NEWS Nova Southeastern University Sport and Recreation Management Newsletter Volume 8, Issue 14, July 12, 2017
A WEEK TO REMEMBER! The American League defeated the National
League in 10 innings at the 88th All Star Game,
2 - 1. However, the All-Star Game is one of
many activities which create All-Star Week.
From FanFest on Miami Beach to three out-
standing days at Marlins Park, the MLB All-Star
festivities brought our community together to
share the fun and excitement of the mid-
summer classic! Pictured to the left is Chad
Wright who worked throughout the festivities for
merchandising. Chad will be a senior at NSU
this coming year. He has been working in mer-
chandising since his freshman year. His experi-
ence working for the Florida Panthers and his
networking landed him the job and another
thing which he can add to his resume.

saltyjobs/
Salty Jobs is an educational video series from the Ma-rine Industries Association of South Florida that show-cases marine industry career opportunities in the South Florida area. The goal of this series is to intro-duce a wide range of jobs associated with the marine industry to local schools, workforce agencies, and the public. It's all about the details in the seventh episode of Salty Jobs which features Denison Yacht Sales. We learn that buyers have specific wants and needs and it is up to the yacht broker to find them their dream boat. Watch Sean go through the full process of listing, mar-keting, and showing a boat for sale.
