Hariyar Chhattisgarh Plantation Mission – 2015”

In the presence of Hon. Chief Minister Shri Raman Singh and other delegates, “Hariyar

Chhattisgarh Plantation Mission – 2015” was organized at Botanical Garden, Naya Raipur on

3rd

August 2015.

100 NSS Volunteers from Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and

Technology, Raipur offered their contribution towards this event in which Dr. Alok Jain

(Principal), NSS Program Officer Mr. Anand Tamrakar, Assistant Program Coordinator Mr.

Ashish Trivedi, Ms. Deepika Sahu, Dr. Dhirendra Singh Kshatri, Mrs. Shubhra Mishra and Dr.

Rakesh Dhundhel were present.


NSS Registration Camp – 2015

Considering the importance of NSS and its contribution in nation development students

were made aware of the participation and were motivated to register as a NSS

Volunteer. This event was coordinated by Dr. Alok Jain and Mr. Anand Tamrakar

which was organized by SSIPMT, Raipur. As a result 239 New Registrations were

recorded of which 138 Males and 101 Females shown their interest.

Registration for NSS was open from 05th

August 2015 to 05th

September 2015.


“Campus Cleaning”on Gandhi Jayanti – 2015

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and following their steps, under the banner of NSS,

SSIPMT, Raipur organized Campus Cleaning Movement on 2nd

October 2015 in the

institute campus. In this event all the Faculties and Staff actively participated in

cleaning the Institute Campus, this initiative was taken by Chairman SSIPMT, Shir

Nishant Tripathi, Principal, Dr. Alok Jain and Mr. Nishant Yadav (HOD, Civil Dept.).


“Swach Bharat Abhiyan – 2015” (29.10.2015 – 10.11.2015)

Under the banner of NSS, SSIPMT, Raipur organized Swach Bharat Abhiyan – 2015 on

6th

September 2015 in the institute campus. In this event all the Faculties, Staff and

Students participated in Clean India Mission and took the oath for the same.

Without any hesitation, Faculties and Students cleaned the institute campus using

Gloves and Mask and made sure the campus is dirt free. Institute Chairman Shri

Nishant Tripathi, Principal Dr. Alok Jain, NSS Program Officer Mr. Anand Tamrakar

and other Faculty members motivated their Students to participate in this mission

assuring their own contribution as well.


“National Youth Week – 2016” (12.01.2016 – 16.01.2016)

National Youth Week – 2016 was organized in SSIPMT, Raipur campus during 12 – 16

January 2016 in which Voter Awareness Program was conducted, which included:

1.Slogan Writing Competition on Voting

2.Poster Making / Painting Competition

3.Nukkad Natak Skit Competition

4.Debate and Speech competition on Importance of Voting in Democracy

On First day, Chairman of SSIPMT Shri Nishant Tripathi gave valuable information

regarding voting, voting rights and also on why should we cast vote in any election

process in Chhattisgarh and India. Principal of SSIPMT Dr. Alok Jain leaded the

Student rally from Institute campus to aware people of Mujgahan Village regarding

casting vote and its importance.

Following that, on Second day Students from 6th

Semester, 4th

Semester and MBA 2nd

Semester performed Nukkad Natak at Mujgahan Village.

On Third and Fourth day, Slogan Competition, Poster Making Competition and Debate

Competition was held in Institute campus on the theme of Voting Rights.

To conclude this event, on Fifth day Soumya Sharma from ET & T Branch, Rahul

Dewangan and Shweta Sachdev from CSE Branch were declared Winners respectively.

To make this event successful NSS Unit member of SSIPMT, Mr. Anand Tamrakar,

Mr. Sunil Dewangan, Ms. Deepika Sahu and other Professors and HODs of various

branches gave their support and cooperation.


Survey of Mujgahan Village

On 22nd

February 2016, To know about basic requirements and present deficiencies in

Mujgahan Village, Mr. Anand Tamrakar, Mr. Nishant Yadav (HOD, Civil Dept.), Mr.

Raju Verma (Civil Engineer), and Professors from Department of Civil visited the

village and had a meeting and conversation with Village Sarpanch in his Panchayat

Office to discuss routine issues they are facing and solutions to those problems were

recommended by NSS Members.

Guidelines and methods to implement those solutions were provided in written to

Sarpanch Shri Sandeep Yahu and Shri Dharmendra Sahu along with other member of

Panchayat. They were assured that any additional assistance if required will be provided

by SSIPMT, Raipur on request.


Blood Donors Registration Camp

On 20th

– 22nd

February 2016, SSIPMT, Raipur organized Blood Donor Registration

Camp in which all the willing Students were invited to register themselves as a probable

Blood Donor. Motive of this camp was to have a available information of Donors in

case of any emergency in and around the Institute. Receiving the huge response, total

143 registrations were done. Final compiled list of all the donors was handed over to

Sarpanch, Mujgahan Village on 24 February 2016


“Shram Daan” by Students

On 24

th February 2016, NSS Volunteers from SSIPMT, Raipur visited Primary School,

Mujgahan, and contributed their effort New Plantation and routine maintenance of the

Garden. Alongside NSS Volunteers spent their time with School Students during their

Mid Time Meal having interaction with them along with their Teachers to know and

discuss their needs and queries. Some solutions were recommended regarding Wall

Painting and Cleanliness of the School. Previously, Chairman SSIPMT, Raipur Shri

Nishant Tripathi donated approximately 150 Meal Plates to the school for their daily

use in Mid Day Meal.


Donation by Students

On 25

th February 2016, Identifying the need of Primary School Kitchen, Mujgahan,

NSS Volunteers from SSIPMT, Raipur donated 9 Inch high speed Exhaust Fan which

was purchased from their own collective contribution. Receiving this facility Staff of

Primary School Kitchen was very much relieved and pleased.


Awareness Rally for Cleanness of Souchalya at Gram Mujgahan

On 7th April,2016 Principal of SSIPMT Dr. Alok Jain leaded the NSS Volunteers of

SSIPMT rally at Mujgahan Village regarding importance of Souchalya construction at

home and cleanness of it. And gathered water /soil from various sources for testing

purpose.
