NRMP Policy:
• Osteopathic medical schools may participate in the NRMP by following existing procedures.
• Programs may participate in the NRMP if they have initial or continued ACGME accreditation and are open to MD applicants.
• The NRMP will continue to provide matching services for all ACGME-accredited programs and the MD and DO applicants who apply to those programs.
• Programs will be dually-accredited until AOA approval expires.
• To offer an osteopathic-focused track, programs must be approved by the Osteopathic Principles Review Committee.

Pathway A: AOA-approved with residents
• Eligible for ACGME Pre-accreditation upon receipt of application
• Graduates eligible for ACGME advanced training based on specialty eligibility standards in place on June 30, 2013

1. a program to request applicants to reveal the names, specialties, geographic locations, or other identifying information about programs to which they have or may apply NEW!
2. a program to request applicants to reveal ranking preferences
3. an applicant to suggest or inform a program that placement on a ROL or acceptance of a SOAP offer is contingent upon submission of a verbal or written statement indicating the program’s preferences
