The Heating Control Kit is an intuitive, automatic and cost effective solution which

provides energy efficiency and comfort control. The Danfoss Living Connect are

electronic wireless radiator thermostats which are controlled through the Q-Stick and

reduce heating expenses by improving energy efficiency.

The Heating Control Kit comes with:

• 2x Danfoss Living Connect - these thermostats allow for excellent energy

efficiency, manually or remotely.

• Q-Stick – a small, powerful gateway which connects to the existing Wi-Fi network

and controls up to 16 Z-Wave devices.

• Personal HomeManager account – the platform for home control with no monthly

fees.

• Automatic control

The Heating Control Kit allows you to remotely control the temperature and set

automatic daily heating and vacation schedules to enhance comfort and save up to

23% on your heating bill.

• Manual control

Manual control overrides the existing preset schedule until the next scheduled event.

If you feel too hot or cold you can simply change the temperature set-point manually

at the thermostat or from your phone.

* If the temperature drops under 16°C the costs for heating will be higher

Heating Control Kit is designed to work on Android, iOs and Windows devices.

• Automatic syncronizing of the room temperature

When controlled through HomeManager the system automatically synchronizes the

temperature set point between the thermostats in the same room and helps you to

optimize your energy consumption.

• Vacation mode

In vacation mode the system will temporarily suspend your preset schedule and

maintain the selected temperature. When your vacation is over it will automatically

return to your weekly schedule so you return to a warm and cozy home.

• Improve your energy consumption behaviour

Having the overview of the heating schedules makes you more aware and motivated

to reduce heating cost by lowering the temperature set-point in your home.

• Offline control

The Q-Stick will continue to manage the connected Z-wave devices according to the

set schedule even if there is no internet connection.

• Open window detection

The Danfoss Living Connect features an open window detection system. This

automatically closes the valve if the room temperature falls dramatically. This reduces

wasteful heat loss and unnecessary energy costs.

• Automatic valve exercising

To keep the radiator valve functional and at its best, the Danfoss Living Connect

automatically exercises the valve once per week by opening it fully and then returning

it to its normal setting.

• Accurate temperature control

The built-in sensors allow it to measure and control the actual room temperature very

accurately.

• Frost protection

Gone away for a longer period of time? The system doesn’t go lower than 5°C in order

to avoid broken pipes during the winter.

• Plug & Play installation

With the easy to follow instructions, the Heating Control Kit takes approximately 10

minutes to install, without the need of a certified technician.

• Product expansions

The Heating Control Kit can easily be used with all NorthQ products like the Q-Power,

Q-Gas, Q-Plug as well as other compatible 3rd party Z-Wave devices.
