Operation Manual User Type: NGO-Others-Private Practitioner-District Hospital
In NPCB Application, NGO/Hospital can follow some steps to Register and Login. These are as follows:-
Step 1: When a new NGO/Hospital wants to register, he enters the http://npcb.nic.in/ in
browser’s url. After that he clicks on “Register NGO/Hospital” on right below side.
Step 2: After that you have to enter username, password and confirm password and click on
“Check Availability” button.
Step 3: Then a new registration page is open and you have to enter all the details and click on
“Submit” button.

Step 4: Then after click on “submit” button a message appears on the screen.
Step 5: After verification by “District Admin”, the registered NGO/Hospital can login with his
user name, password and enter captcha same as shown in above image (case sensitive) on
submitting “Login” button in the website and go to the welcome page.

Step 6:
Module Name: Monitoring Proforma
Link Name: Blind Register:
As user clicks on “Blind Register” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form will appear on
the screen.

Here the User can Add/Modify/Delete Patients.
Adding New Patients:-Click on the “Add New Record” hyperlink. The following form will appear.
For Cataract, please select “Cataract” in front of “Send To” dropdown list.

Enter the required data and click on the “Continue” button after that another new page opens.
Please fill all the patient details fields and click on “Submit” button.

After clicking on “Submit” button, a message is shown.
When u again clicks on “Blind Register” link then u can see that the patient records what you
have added with patient’s name, father’s/husband’s name, phone/mobile no, address, age/sex,
disease name, entry date, photo and organization name.

By Default it shows only 100 patient’s records. If you want to show all records, please go to the
bottom left side of the page and click on “Show All Patient’s Records”.
To modify a record, click on the “Edit” hyperlink and modify the data.
To delete a record, click on the “Delete” hyperlink.
User can search records on Entry Date, name, age, category (ascending and descending order)
and search also with patient name and patient’s fathers/husband name.
Step 7:
Link Name: Cataract Surgery:
As user clicks on “Cataract Surgery” under “Monitoring Performa”, following form will appear on
the screen with patient name, registration no, Age/Sex, Operation Date, Treatment Date,
photo and select all facility.

NGO can Edit and Delete the Cataract details of patients to click on Edit and Delete hyperlink.
After that the NGO can check mark on checkbox and click on “Approve” button for approval by
District Program Manager (DPM).
A message is shown on the page.

The patient details have been sent to the District Program Manager (DPM) for approval.
Step 8:
Module Name - Report
Link Name – Main Report 1 – NGO Level
After approval, the NGO logins with his credential and click on the “Main Report 1-NGO Level”
hyperlink. A page opens and click on “Proceed” button.
All the details of the patient are shown here with amount and cases information.
We can also view the patient’s details after clicking on “Cataract – Cases – [Count]” hyperlink.
A new window is open after clicking on “Cataract – Cases – [Count]” hyperlink. This window is
shown below.

After that click on “View” hyperlink and a new window is open with patient details.

Step 9:
Module Name - Report
Link Name – Main Report 2 – NGO Level
This main report 2 is used only for “Eye Bank” and “School Eye Screening”. So this page
information is shown below.

Step 10:
Module Name: Monitoring Performa
Link Name: Congenital Patois
For Congenital Patois, first we can add a new record on clicking “Blind Register – Add New
Record”. For Congenital Patois, please select “Congenital Patois” in front of “Send To”
dropdown list. The page information is given below.

After click on “Continue” button following message is shown on the screen.
As user clicks on “Conginetal Ptosis” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form will appear
on the screen.

Here the User can Modify/Delete Conginetal Ptosis data corresponding to a particular patient
and then check on checkbox and click on “Proceed” button for approval of “DPM”.
Following message is shown in the screen.
Then after approval by “DPM”, NGO can view the reports same as previous steps which we
followed on “Cataract Surgery.”
Step 11:
Link Name: Diabetic Register:
For Diabetic Register, first we can add a new record on clicking “Blind Register – Add New
Record”. For Diabetic Register, please select “Diabetic Retinopathy” in front of “Send To”
dropdown list. The page information is given below.

Following message is shown on the screen.
As user clicks on “Diabetic Register” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form will appear on
the screen

Here the User can Modify/Delete Diabetic Register data corresponding to a particular patient
and then check on checkbox and click on “Proceed” button for approval of “DPM”.
Following message is shown in the screen.
Then after approval by “DPM”, NGO can view the reports same as previous steps which we
followed on “Cataract Surgery.”
Step 12:
Link Name: Eye Banks:
As user clicks on “Eye Banks” under “Monitoring Performa”, here the User can
Add/Modify/Delete Eye Banks data.
For adding Eye Banks Data click on “Add New Record” hyperlink. Following form will appear on
the screen.

After filling the data NGO clicks on “Continue” button and a new message form is appeared on
the screen.
After that when you click on “Eye Banks” hyperlink, a new form opens and the data what you
have add for “Eye Bank” is shown here. You can also edit and delete the data to click on “Edit”
and “Delete” button.
Then you can check the checkbox and click on “Proceed” button for approval by DPM.

which we followed on “Cataract Surgery.”

Link Name: Eye Donation Center:

As user clicks on “Eye Donation Center” under “Monitoring Performa”, here the User can
Add/Modify/Delete Eye Donation Center data.
For Adding Eye donation center data, you can click on the “Add New Record” hyperlink.
Following form will appear on the screen.
After filling the data NGO clicks on “Continue” button and a new message form is appeared on
the screen.

After that when you click on “Eye Donation Center” hyperlink, a new form opens and the data
what you have add for “Eye Donation Center” is shown here. You can also edit and delete the
data to click on “Edit” and “Delete” button.
Then you can check the checkbox and click on “Proceed” button for approval by DPM.

Step 14:
Link Name: Glaucoma:
For Glaucoma, first we can add a new record on clicking “Blind Register – Add New Record”.
For Glaucoma, please select “Glaucoma” in front of “Send To” dropdown list. The page
information is given below.

After click on continue button a message will appear on the screen.
As user clicks on “Glaucoma” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form will appear on the
screen.

Here the User can Modify/Delete Glaucoma corresponding to a particular Patient and then
after check on checkbox click on “Submit to District” button.
After click on “Submit to District” button, a message is shown on the page.
Then after approval by “DPM”, NGO can view the reports same as previous steps which we
followed on “Cataract Surgery.”
Step 15:
Link Name: Intraocular Trauma in Children:
For Intraocular Trauma in children, first we can add a new record on clicking “Blind Register –
Add New Record”. For Intraocular Trauma in children, please select “Intra Ocular Trauma” in
front of “Send To” dropdown list. The page information is given below.

After click on continue button a message will appear on the screen.
As user clicks on “Intraocular Trauma in Children” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form
will appear on the screen.

Here the User can Modify/Delete Intraocular Trauma in Children corresponding to a particular
Patient and then after check on checkbox click on “Proceed” button.
After click on “Proceed” button, a message is shown on the page.
Then after approval by “DPM”, NGO can view the reports same as previous steps which we
followed on “Cataract Surgery.”
Step 16:
Link Name: Kerato Plasty:
For Kerato Plasty, first we can add a new record on clicking “Blind Register – Add New Record”.
For Kerato Plasty, please select “Kerato Plasty“ in front of “Send To” dropdown list. The page
information is given below.

After click on continue button a message will appear on the screen.
As user clicks on “Kerato Plastry” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form will appear on
the screen.

Here the User can Add/Modify/Delete Kerato Plastry corresponding to a particular Patient and
then after check on checkbox click on “Submit to District” button.
After click on “Submit to District” button, a message is shown on the page.
Then after approval by “DPM”, NGO can view the reports same as previous steps which we
followed on “Cataract Surgery.”
Step 17:
Link Name: Retinoblastoma:
For Retinoblastoma, first we can add a new record on clicking “Blind Register – Add New
Record”. For Kerato Plasty, please select “Retinoblastoma“ in front of “Send To” dropdown list.
The page information is given below.

After click on continue button a message will appear on the screen.
As user clicks on “Retinoblatoma” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form will appear on
the screen.

Here the User can Modify/Delete Retinoblastoma corresponding to a particular Patient and then
after check on checkbox click on “Proceed” button.
After click on “Proceed” button, a message is shown on the page.

New Record”. For Retinopathy of Prematurity, please select “Retinopathy“ in front of “Send To”

Link Name: School Eye Screening:
As user clicks on “School Eye Screening” under “Monitoring Proforma”, here the User can
Add/Modify/Delete School Eye Screening data.
For Adding Eye donation center data, you can click on the “Add New Record” hyperlink.
Following form will appear on the screen.

Link Name: Squint Register:
For Squint Register, first we can add a new record on clicking “Blind Register – Add New
Record”. For Squint Register, please select “Squint“ in front of “Send To” dropdown list. The
page information is given below.

As user clicks on Squint Register” under “Monitoring Proforma”, following form will appear on
the screen.

Here the User can Add/Modify/Delete Squint Register data corresponding to a particular
Patient and then after check on checkbox click on “Proceed” button.
After click on “Proceed” button, a message is shown on the page.
Then after approval by “DPM”, NGO can view the reports same as previous steps which we
followed on “Cataract Surgery.”
Step 21:
Module Name: Report
Link Name: Main Report 1 – NGO Level:
As user clicks on “Main Report 1” under “Report”, following form will appear on the screen.

Select the search criteria and the user will get all the records corresponding to the search
criteria after clicking on “Proceed” button.
After click on “Proceed” button a new form is open. In this form there are all dieses name with
Amount and cases. In cases, two links are present there. [Red link] shows that how many
patients have suffering from which dieses that have applied but not approved by “District
Admin” and [Blue link] shows that how many patients have suffering from which dieses that
have applied and approved by “District Admin”.

When we click on the Red or Blue link a new window opens and after click on “View” hyperlink,
all the patient details have shown in another window.

Step 22:
Link Name: Main Report 2-NGO Level:
As user clicks on “Main Report 2-NGO Level” under “Report”, following form will appear on the
screen.

Select the search criteria and the user will get all the records corresponding to the search
criteria and click on “Proceed” button.
After click on “Proceed” button, a new form will open. In this form all the details of the patients
who have Eye Bank and School Eye Screening.
Step 23:
Module Name: Others
Link Name: Change Password

As user clicks on “Change Password” under “Others”, following form will appear on the
screen. User can change the password in this form. First he enters his current password and
then enters new and confirm password and click on “Change” button.
Step 24:
Link Name: View Manual
In this link, we can download the user manual for NGO/Hospital organization.

Step 25:
Link Name: Edit User Details
When we click on “Edit User Details” hyperlink, a new form will open. In this you can edit the
details of the user and after that click on “Submit” button. After that user’s information has
been changed.
Step 26:
Link Name: Log Off
After clicking on “Log Off” hyperlink, the user can exit out inside the application.

Step 27:
Link Name: CLICK TO PRINT
When you click on the “Click to Print” hyperlink, you can take a print out any of the page in the
application.
Step 28:
Link Name: Forgot Password
If user forgot his password, he can use the “Forgot Password” link and follow the step to get
the new password.
User opens to the browser and enters http://npcb.nic.in/ in browser’s url, the main page of
NPCB Website is open and on below right side a “Forgot Password” red color link is there.
After click on “Forgot Password” link, a new form will open. User enters his registered
username, registered email address. Click on “Proceed” button.

After that a message is appeared on the screen as shown below.
After that a new mail is sent to the user’s registered email id. Please check the email account
with subject “NPCB Website Details – PRRC Code : “.
Copy these 6 digits PRRC Code and again enter the entire details i.e. registered username,
registered email id, confirm email id and 6 digits PRRC Code. Then click on “Send Password to
Email” button.

After click on “Send Password to Email” button, it redirects to the login page with 8 steps
messages in red color as well as it sends a new mail on users registered email id with subject
“NPCB Website Details”.
In this message, a new is written with “Reset Password Link Code”. Please note down the Reset
Password Link Code for future reference.

After that enter the login (username) and password (8 digits random number) which is send on
user’s email and enter captcha image text and click on “Login” button.

After that it will redirect to the “Change Password” page. Here, enter the current password i.e.
8 digits random number which is send on user’s email, enter new password (what user want to
set) and enter confirm password i.e. same as what you have entered in “New Password” field
and then click on “change” button.
A new message is shown after click on “Change” button.
Then click on “Go to Main Page” button. You can go to the main page of NPCB Website.
Now you can login with his username and new set password.
