You know where you are? You’re in Malmö baby! And we’re going to make

you scream!

ESN Malmö is proud to invite and welcome you all to the next National Platform of ESN

Sweden! Here is some information that we thought you may need.

Transportation to Malmö:

By Plane: If you are arriving by plane, there are busses (Flygbussarna) leaving from

Sturup Airport to Malmö Central Station where we can pick you up. A youth ticket

(from age 16 to 25) in this bus costs 79kr and an adult ticket costs 99kr. If you do

arrive by plane please send us your arrival information, so we can have someone

ready to pick you up in the Central Station! There is an online discount if you buy the

ticket through their website in advance.

If you arrive in CPH Kastrup Airport, there is a train leaving every 20 minutes going

to Malmö Central Station, which costs 105sek. If you buy a “duo” ticket it is cheaper.

You can buy your ticket in the red Skånetrafiken machines by the arrival area, and

then go down to track 1 where the Öresundståg will take you to Malmö Central. The

ride is about 20 minutes long.

By bus: There are several cities in Sweden which have bus departures to Malmö

daily. Go on www.nettbuss.se and look for trains arriving to Malmö C/Glashallen and

you will be in the right track! If you are arriving by bus you will arrive at Malmö

Central Station. So please send us your estimated arrival time so we can have

someone ready to pick you up!

By train: Both Skånetrafiken and SJ trains have daily departures to Malmö. Get off

in Malmö Central Station, go up the escalators to the waiting area, and we will be

there to pick you up.

By car: If you are crazy enough to drive by car (if you have enough money for fuel

that is) then the best place for you to arrive is… you guessed it right, Malmö Central

again! You will have a map of Malmö Central right here.

NOTE: If for some reason we can’t pick you up and you have to get to the accommodation

on your own, worry not! It is super easy and it takes about 2 minutes, and if the weather

is good then it’s actually quite a nice walk! You can see how close it is in the map below.

Accommodation:

Once you have arrived in Malmö safe and sound, we shall escort you to your ``6 Star``

accommodation in the Student Union building. In this building we have everything you may

need. There is an elevator (woohooo!), a Student Pub (even more woohooo!) and Kölsvinet,

a place in which we can all chill and sit on the couches while listening to music and having

fun.

On the 4th floor of the building, you are going to be all sleeping in the same room! 50 people

in one room? Crazy, eh?! But do not worry, the room is big enough!

The “Student Pub” is where we will have a club night and have fun the way only ESNers

know how to! It is part of the Student Union building, so no need for long dizzy walks back!

Address to the Student Union building: Bassängkajen 8, 211 18 Malmö

Tashdid Mahmud I’m Tashdid, from Bangladesh, studying International Relations, been in Sweden for 3 years now. Among many things that I do, ESN is the one of the few that I really care and love to do, not only it gives experience, it also keeps a highly social human being like me super active and busy. If you wanna know more all you gotta do is just come up to me and start with "Hi". I will be looking forward to that Hi :) Contact me at 0727722518

It's a great honor for me to be in the current ESN Malmö board. I would like to contribute to making the life and stay of both new and old international students here in Malmö better, brighter and more fun as much as I can, as the old board did for me and my friends. Hellou! I’m Ben, Albanian from Finland and third year

student of Human Rights. I joined ESN because of the

awesome feeling it gives to me, I really like the ESN

spirit, the values it stands for and most importantly it

changes people’s lives and gives most unforgettable

experiences. ESN is lot of fun, but lot of fun always

requires hard work, perfect balance for me. People are

my passion, I like sharing knowledge and ideas with

people from different cultures and backgrounds!
