NOW HIRING MARINE CREW On behalf of DOF Subsea Canada, Horizon Maritime Services Ltd. is recruiting qualified Marine Crew for Emera’s upcoming Cable Lay Project on the East Coast of Canada. Crew will be mobilized out of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Due to local content requirements, preference will be given to Newfoundland residents. All applicants must be willing to undergo a standard industry medical & agree to mandatory drug and alcohol screening. Candidates must hold the following minimum certificates: STCW Certificate of Competency specific to the position, STCW Marine Emergency Duties Training, STCW Vessel Personnel with Security Duties Training, Marine First Aid and WHMIS. For Bridge Officers, preference will be given to those with a full, unlimited DP Operator’s Certificate.
