Ourselves And The Waters of Baptism!

The Role of Baptism. Words of Jesus. (John 3:1-5; Mark 16:16) Christ shed His blood for the remission of sins

and one is baptized for the same purpose. (Matt. 26:28; Acts 2:38; 22:16; Romans 6:3)

In Acts, no one received remission of sins prior to baptism. (Acts 2:38; 8:35-39; 10:47,48; Acts 22:16)

These do not contradict one another but complement one another. Each of them in proper

perspective has something to do with one’s deliverance from sin.
