What started out as a little Piroshki shop in San Francisco’s Richmond District in 1956, became the Galant Food Company adored by our customers today. Unless you could smell the aroma, and follow your nose to our front door, just about anyone might have walked right by us. Our little factory on Potrero Street quickly became San Francis-co's best kept secret. Although leaving the city sad-dened us, we have moved to a larger more modern facility in San Leandro. Galant Food Co. has expand-ed its product line to include bagel dogs, calzones,

savory puff pastries, lunch wraps, breakfast wraps and more! Galant Food Co. remains very much a family affair sixty years later. Reliant Foodservice is proud to announce they now have three product lines from Galant Foods. The Galant Breakfast wraps and sandwiches in four flavors and the amazing Savory Wraps by Clara’s Kitchen. These delicious wraps also come in four great flavors. HOW DO WE GIVE PEOPLE CLEAN WATER?


Frooty Brazil was founded back in 1994 with the purpose of bringing to Brazil the

knowledge of frozen yogurt already known in Europe. The first factory was

established in 1997 supplying for 6 franchised stores, regional supermarkets and

local restaurants. In 1998, Frooty gave place to the first acai sorbet line of prod-

ucts that can be found at the best retail stores, grocery markets, restaurants and

juice bars in Brazil. Frooty slowly engaged with the acai production chain in order to guarantee the supply of

the growing demand on such a rare berry. Acai has all the vitamins and minerals of most fruits, including

fiber, calcium, iron, lipids, protein and phosphorus but also boasts a range of unique plant chemical

compounds found in no other fruit on the planet that can remove destructive free radicals from our

body. Among acai's many antioxidants is one particular powerhouse called anthocyanin, which is

suspected to be the driving force behind acai's free-radical and age-fighting powers. It’s common in

fruits with rich red and purple colors, like grapes and berries, but açai has far more

than any other food. Acai's ORAC level

over 3,500, which is hundreds of times

In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre visited family in Lucca, Italy. The two returned home to their native San Francisco with something very important: handwritten recipes, which they used to create authentic flavored syrups.

These syrups helped Rinaldo and Ezilda reintroduce the Italian soda to their North Beach neighbor-hood. And the sodas were a hit. Years later, Torani helped record another hit: our syrup was used to create the world’s first flavored latte!

We are a family-owned business – we always have been. And that strong sense of family has guided our set of values. We believe we can do something meaningful. From the moment Rinaldo and Ezilda

founded Torani in 1925, our company has focused not only on business, but also on serving the community.

Today, we’re a global presence. But even though people all over the world recognize our iconic Torani bottle, we’ve remained a family-owned company -- adhering to the high quality standards that Rinaldo and Ezilda set nearly 90 years ago. Each and every syrup, sauce, and smoothie is created with care and pride. That’s a promise from our entire family -- including the more than 100 members that make up the Torani team.

Way back we started with just five syrups. Today, you can use more than 100 of our naturally flavored syrups, sauces and beverage bases in coffees, sodas, teas, smoothies, cocktails and more. And we’re excited to bring you new taste traditions and flavors as we move forward.

On a hot summer day in 1981, architect Joao Suplicy took home a large broken skylight from a construction project in the hills of Curitiba, Brasil. Suplicy woke the next morning and discovered that all the grass beneath the skylight had died. This simple, unintentional ex-periment sparked an idea that started as a personal hobby and continued on as a family tradition.

From this simple revelation, Joao constructed a natural dehydrator and tested it with fresh, peeled bananas. After just five days he had raw, organic, dehydrated bananas that tasted sweet and lasted for months. To their delight, Joao shared the organic bananas with his family and friends, but perhaps the biggest fan of all was his eldest son, Caue. In 2001, Caue relocated to Southern California to commence his career as a professional triathlete. The Suplicy family tradition of creating organic chewy bananas carried on, as he shared the banana superfood with his friends and fellow athletes across the country. In 2010, Caue, Nik, and Matt decided to share the Super Potassium Snack® with the world and embark on a journey that would soon become Barnana.
