Let us resume our tour of ACEAFNE...
On returning from the reunion in Portugal, Mrs. Zepisi Simona made a

On November 11
th, 2015, the non-formal education training session took
place, having as hosts Mrs. Laura Erculescu - Maths teacher, member of the
team and inspector at The County Educational Authority and Mrs Zepisi
Simona – Maths teacher and coordinator of the project.
The agenda comprised:
1. ICE BREAKING
2. FORMAL/NON-FORMAL/INFORMAL- video presentation
3. PRESENTATION OF CONCEPTUAL FORMAL/NON-
FORMAL/INFORMAL ELEMENTS, (powerpoint)
4. PRACTICAL ACTIVITY – learning styles
5. PRESENTATION OF CONCEPTUAL NON-FORMAL ELEMENTS,
(powerpoint).
6. PRACTICAL ACTIVITY.
Every teacher was e-mailed bibliographic materials. Nineteen teachers, members
of the project team, participated in the activity. Every teacher‟s assignment for
the next two weeks was to devise a non-formal activity alongside some of their
students, ( not necessarily from the target group), which they presented during
the meeting exchanging good practices, on November 25th
, 2015. Every teacher
gave a presentation of his/her activity, (strengths, weaknesses, student impact).
In addition, a portfolio was devised, containing activity files, photos, final
products).
All the teachers expressed their enthusiasm about this type of activity, which
involved students in non-formal contexts.
Finally, a feedback questionnaire was applied, which drew satisfying
conclusions as to the organisation of the event.
Meanwhile, the students prepared for the selection contests addressed to
those who will benefit from mobilities.
There were four contests:
1. The creation of an album presenting the country, city and school, entitled
‟‟ABOUT US’’
The contest was followed by an interview in English, with the first three
students singled out as interviewees. Dates: December 15th
/16th, 2015.
2. Essay contest on the following topic:“The Impact of Pollution on People’s
Health”
The students presented their essays to a board of assessors. The selection was
made by age categories, (junior/senior). Dates: December 15th
/16th, 2015.
3. Essay contest in English on the following topic: “Sustainability
Development and Energy Comsumption for an Ecological Society”
The students presented their essays to a board of assessors. The selection was
made by age categories, (junior/senior). Dates: December 15th/ 16
th, 2015.
4. Creativity contest: three parts:
- Essay about the importance of recycling used materials( written at home, prior
to the contest)
- Practical activity, the manufacuring of Christmas decorations out of recyclable
materials
- Interview in English. Dates: December 10th
-16th , 2015.
Twenty-two out of the forty students from the target group took part in the
contests.

During the last school week, the 11
th G grade students, guided by prof.
Simona Zepisi, took part in a workshop manufacturing certain Christmas
decorations, out of recyclable materials. The students were seriously
involved in the activity, which was both useful(recycling materials), and
pleasant(relaxing creativity activity). They were very proud of the resulting
decorated Christmas tree.
In November and December initial questionnaires were applied to 40
students, 23 teachers, 20 parents and 2 headmasters. A local statistic survey
has been carried out. We are expecting our partners‟ results to centralise
them. However, this event will take place next month......

We created a presentation about our school and Czech Educational system
for project meeting in Portugal
We distributed the questionnaires to students, parents and teachers involved
in the project

After the visit in Portugal we wrote the article in local newspaper and school

Made movie about partners meeting in Portugal. This movie was shown for
all students, teachers, parents and all school community
Had meeting with all teachers and made presentation about meeting in
Portugal
Students create the album „About us“ (choose places and information)
Teachers fill the table with integrated activities (formal and non-formal) for
2015-2016 school year
Headmistress, teachers, students and parents filled questionnaires
Organized the paintings exhibition „I take part in the project because I worry
about our nature“

Our local television prepared the program about our teachers and students

DECEMBER
The educational trip to Wroclaw for the lesson and workshops in Institute of
Biology at the University of Wrocław. The organiser of the trip was Agata
Karolczyk-Kozyra.
Planning of the trip to UK in January for the O1 meeting.
Students made album „About us“. The winner of the competition is
Agnieszka Gertych from second class.
Counted and observed the results of questionnaires for teachers, students and
parents. The results were sent to the project coordinator from Romania.

Presentation of the project to the students (description, aim, objectives,
activietis, mobilities, etc.)
Selection of the direct beneficiaries, 50 students between the age 16-18 years
from the different programs.

Hotels, transportation informations sent to the respective participants
NGO's contacted for visits of the international guests
Lesson on Sustainable development such as affect on Oil spills in the sea on
birds, clean up metods are conducted during Science lab.

Staff Meetings held to discuss and plan Training Workshops in January
Head Teacher met with Richard Hurst to discuss the aims and objectives of
the project and to plan the outline of the Training Workshops
Whole School took part in writing “All About Me” book
Whole School Assembly was held to discuss the project
Staff, parent and pupil questionnaires were completed
Parents were informed about the opportunity for their children to be involved
in exchanges
