November 25, 2019 Shortly after dark, at 7:15 p.m., on Wednesday, Novem- ber 6, and officially dedicated this new Peace Pole to SMILE, the Sellwood- Westmoreland neighborhood association -- with SMILE Station in the background. Among those present to accept was (far right) – SMILE Board Member, and also Chair of the new Sellwood Communi- ty House nonprofit which is operating the former Com- munity Center after the Parks Department closed it. You’ll hear more about this at our December 16 meeting! We’ll meet on the first three Mondays in December; but the meeting December 9 is a Fireside at 6 p.m. at Stephen Bache’s home (details in “Club News” below). The photo below was taken at the club fundraising dinner Stephen held recently! We won’t meet over the Holidays, but will resume on Monday, January 6.
