INTRODUCTION TO AIRBRUSHING Wednesdays, Nov 6 and 20 at 10:00am in game room
No cost for this event Scott Pinkham is an airbrush artist. In September, he will be teaching and mentoring
those interested in learning this new craft. You don’t need any supplies other than a
100% cotton T-shirt for the first class. Scott will show different types of airbrushes,
the history and simple techniques before you have an opportunity to put your name

Join us for the exploration of the museum’s four floors as well as the planetarium show, “National Park
Adventures”. The 4D theater will have a short 15 minute showing of “The Wizard of Oz” and there will be

CONSTRUCTION CORNER
We’re almost there! You can almost see the light at the end of the hallway. The elevator has been deliv-
ered and is being installed. The stairwell is in place as well as finishing touches on the exterior handicap
ramp and steps. The kitchens are finished and the bathrooms are almost complete. Look for the Rib-
bon Cutting announcement soon.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
SHOEBOXES
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenomination-
al evangelical Christian organization
providing spiritual and physical aid to
hurting people around the world. Opera-
tion Christmas Child has delivered gift-
filled shoeboxes to over 168 million chil-
dren in more than 100 countries. We will
be collecting individual items for our
packing party or you make take a box and
fill it yourself. Come to the office for
more information.

PARKINSON’S DISEASE

Please join Amedisys Hospice for an educational in-service focusing on
Parkinson’s Disease. During this presentation, we will discuss the neuropa-
thology of Parkinson’s disease, identify common treatments for the disease
and learn about ways to assist and support the patient with Parkinson’s dis-

to be given to insurance carrier to secure a state
mandated 3 year discount on auto insurance premi-

ANGEL TREE
Come by the office and check our ANGEL TREE Win-
dow and pull a tag for a resident of NHC or Simpson-
ville Health Care. We will be collecting simple gifts for
these folks and delivering them just before Christmas.
The names we receive are people who have no family
to gift them gifts. Let’s share our bless-
ings with them.
