International Day Volunteers Needed◼ We will be needing

volunteers to come out and help promoting FES on Thursday, November 14th at the SSB Patio.

◼ Volunteers will gain 10 FES points for volunteering.

Thanksgiving Drive

◼FreeRice.com Food Drive▪Each question answered correctly provides someone in need with 10 grains of rice.

▪So far, FES Valencia has provided through FreeRice.com 1670.2 days worth of rice to those in need.

◼Contest:▪Person to donate the most rice through FES Valencia College’s group will receive a $25 gift card to Best Buy from FES.

▪Contest will end on Thursday, November 28th at 11:59pm.

Engineers Week Science Fair

◼Open to the general student population.◼Participant may participate alone or in a

group of up to 3 other students.◼Projects must be approved by FES

Executive Officers and FES Advisor prior.◼FES will sponsor at most 4 groups.

▪Currently, we have enough to fund 3 more groups.

◼Each group will receive a budget of at least $100 to use towards their project. (May be readjusted depending on how many groups are formed)
