As most of you already know, on September 25th, the Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation Center held its Grand Opening. Over 2,500 people made their way through the doors of the building, making this Grand Opening the largest in Rice University’s history. Thank you to all of the students who helped us prepare for this event, and to those who attended. The Recreation Center staff is thrilled about their new digs and look forward to seeing many more student faces in the new facility.
