Noun-Adjective Agreement
In Spanish, adjectives match the gender and number of the nouns they describe.
Here’s how…
![Page 10: Noun – Adjective Agreement. ¡Vámonos! Grab a new pasaporte on your way in and get started! Translate the following 3 sentences: I like soccer. (el fútbol)](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062500/5665b4a21a28abb57c92d71a/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Noun- Adjective Agreement
Adjectives that end in –e (for example, inteligente) match BOTH genders.

![Page 11: Noun – Adjective Agreement. ¡Vámonos! Grab a new pasaporte on your way in and get started! Translate the following 3 sentences: I like soccer. (el fútbol)](https://reader036.fdocuments.in/reader036/viewer/2022062500/5665b4a21a28abb57c92d71a/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Noun-Adjective Agreement
Many adjectives that end in a consonant match both genders.
Example el amigo jovenla amiga joven
Some adjectives that end in a consonant add –a to form the feminine singular. These exceptions have to be memorized!

Forming Plural Adjectives
To make an adjective plural, add -s if it ends in a vowel; add -es if it ends in a consonant
