JOB TITLE: Sports Therapist

REPORTING TO: Head of Medical Services

RESPONSIBLE FOR: First Team

CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS OF WORK: 40 Nominal Working Hours Weekly (to include evenings, weekends and match days as required)

Our First Team is looking for a passionate and committed Sports Therapist to join our medical team on a permanent contract.

Potential candidates should be driven, self-motivated and work within the best interests of our First Team players. It is imperative that the post holder has effective communication skills and works well within a multidisciplinary environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Provide pitch side medical cover and home and away fixtures across the First Team

Record and update medical records using Benchmark 54

Implement evidence-based practice and utilise advanced clinical reasoning skills during the rehabilitation process.

Assist in the provision of warm ups and cool downs pre/post training and match days.

Liaise with the First Team Manager and Senior Physiotherapist regarding the management of injured players

Engage in Continued Professional Development (CPD) inclusive of periodical trauma and CPD evenings.

Technical Specification Minimum BSc Sport Therapist with CSP/SST/BASRaT accreditation Minimum ITMMiF

qualified

Must have demonstrable experience of working within a rehab environment with proven levels of success

Full UK driving licence

Personal Specification

Demonstrable sports therapist experience within football Flexible approach to work and working hours Passionate about physiotherapist and working with footballers at League 2 level Excellent communication skills and able to engage with senior stakeholders

This is a full time and permanent role and is based at the Club’s offices at Meadow Lane, Nottingham. The post holder will be required to perform their duties and/or additional work, or attend training outside of normal office hours and/or in different locations.
