The Member Secretary of the Committee shall ensure that meetings of the

Committee be held regularly and quarterly report be sent to the Nodel Agency i.e. REC & PFC

as the case may be.

The minutes of the meetings wiil be issued by the convenor.The committee shall be consulted in the preparation of DpRs under DDUGJy andIPDS and would monitor the implementation of these schemes in their respective jurisdiction.

The committee would also review the quality of power suppry and consumer satisfaction andwould promote energy efficiency and energy conservation. The committee will also review andmonitor the implementation of all central Schemes in power sector in their respectivejurisdiction

The above District Electricity committees shall meet at least once in three monthsat the District headquarter.
