Gary – As requested, Daleel Nangju, an engineer with Anchor QEA, performed a visual inspection of the armored cap at San Jacinto following the recent storm event and associated high water levels from the storm surge. The eastern cell of the northern impoundment remained underwater during the inspection due to tidal conditions; however, the exposed areas of the cap in the western cell and the berms remain intact, and appear the same as before the 6/16 rain event. The attached photos document some of Daleel’s observations.
As you know, we have full inspection scheduled for July. In the interim, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns.
Thank you, David
