Purpose: Contract C115000001 is established for the purchase of ozone laundry chemicals and ware wash commercial (for dishwashing systems). Dispensing equipment and associated service and support are provided at no additional cost. MVE: State agency personnel are advised that some of the products available under the contract are also available from Missouri Vocational Enterprises. The state agency is advised to follow required protocol regarding purchase of a product from this contract that is also available from MVE. Training: The contractor is required to perform on-site training within 90-days of the contract award. Thereafter the contractor must perform annual testing at no additional cost to the state agency. Monthly Site Visits and Site Visits Reports: The contractor shall provide monthly site visits and site visit reports addressing a chemical analysis/effectiveness of the chemical program, dispensing and outcome. On-going Consultation: The contractor shall provide general and on-going consultation throughout the contract period

at no additional charge to the state as requested. Consultation shall be focused on advising the state agency on the type and titration of laundry and/or ware washing chemicals that will result in the cleanest products at the lowest cost to the state. In addition the contractor shall perform the following tasks at no additional cost.

• The contractor shall promptly resolve all system problems; problem resolution shall not be interpreted as

merely assigning a trouble-ticket number but shall mean that the contractor has put into action activities that shall resolve the reported problem.

• Provide all necessary labor, parts, materials, and transportation to maintain all dispensing system equipment

furnished in good working order and in compliance with all equipment manufacturer's specifications and all provisions of the contract.

• Provide the state agency with 48-hours prior notification before arriving on the state agency site, even for

scheduled site visits. • Provide technical support Monday – Friday, 8-5 central time, excluding state holidays. However, it is

highly desirable that the contractor provides 24 hours per day, 7 days per week technical support.

• The contractor shall provide on-site support as requested by the state agency. All on-site visits must be coordinated with the state agency site manager; the contractor must ensure that the laundry and/or dishwashing manager for the site will be present on site when the contractor is scheduled to be there

Drum Recycling: At no additional cost to the state, Ecolab shall be responsible for picking-up and removing all empty drums. Ecolab prefers a 15-20 barrel minimum for pick-up per order with a minimum of 10 drums. All drum recycling performed shall comply with DOT regulations. The state agency will be required to rinse and cap empty barrels for recycling. Original labels must be retained.

Minimum Order Requirement: Two cases of product Restocking: Ecolab does not charge a restocking fee. State agencies are advised to make sure orders are accurate before placing. Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets and Labeling Requirements Required For Both Ozone Laundry and Ware Washing Chemicals: Ecolab is required to provide Safety Data Sheets that comply with the OSHA uniform formatting requirements that are to become effective June 1, 2015, and the contractor’s Safety Data Sheets shall always comply with any changes to those OSHA requirements. State agency personnel are advised to coordinate with Ecolab in securing Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets or securing access to Hazard Communication Safety Data Sheets online.
