All ships falling under the scope of the MARPOL Annex IV (Sewage) and flying the flag of a Government which is a party to MARPOL Annex IV shall be

certified by 27 September 2008. xiii. For ships subject to the AFS Convention shall be inspected and issued with an AFS Statement of Compliance by 17 September 2008. Ships flying the flag

of a country party to the Convention shall be issued with an AFS Certificate after 17 September 2008. xiv. Bulk carriers of single side skin construction, carrying cargoes having a density of 1,780 Kg/m3 and above, shall not sail with hold loaded to less than 10%

of the hold maximum cargo weight when in the full load condition as from 1 July 2006, when reaching 10 years ago of age, if they don't meet the requirements for withstanding flooding of any cargo hold (SOLAS Reg.XII/.5.1) and for side shell structure as specified in IACS UR S 12 (Rev.2.1) or UR S31. Such ships have normally not been designed to comply with the requirements of SOLAS Reg.XII/5.1.

xv. A minimum of 2 immersion suits of an appropriate size shall be provided at the remotely located survival craft are not later than the first safety equipment survey on or after 1 July 2008, unless otherwise stated by the Flag administration.

xvi. Cargo ships of 3000 GT and upward but less than 20000 GT constructed before 01/07/2002 shall be fitted with a VDR or S-VDR at the first scheduled dry-docking after 1 July 2007 but not later than 1 July 2010.

xvii. On 01st July, 2010, No Safety Management Certificate should be extended for a period of longer than three months, and the ship to which an extension is granted should not, on its arrival in the port in which it is to be verified, be entitled by virtue of such extension to leave that port without having a new Safety Management Certificate. When the renewal verification is completed, the new Safety Management Certificate should be valid to a date not exceeding five years from the expiry date of the existing Safety Management Certificate before the extension was granted. ISM Code B/13.12 to 13.14 & Resolution MSC.273(85).

xviii. On January 1, 2011, the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code becomes mandatory. The Code gives requirements for the safe carriage of bulk cargoes and covers: loading and discharge; safety of ship personnel; trimming procedures; and carriage of cargoes which may liquefy or which represent a chemical hazard

xix. Repetitive Port State Control detentions may lead to Class being Suspended provided that detainable deficiencies are considered to have an effect towards ship's compliance with the society's classification Rules and Regulations

xx. The present Survey Status Report may not include surveys carried out and recommendations posed but not yet reported to Head Office or entered to our records.
