Heorhiy Narbut
Heorhiy Narbut was a Ukrainian painter. Heis known for creating Ukrainian coats ofarms, banknotes, postage stamps,charters, and his many illustrations inbooks and magazines. This stamp featureshis work “Poetry” (Поезія), which waspublished in the Ukrainian magazine “Art”(Mистецтво) published in 1919.
50th Anniversary Of First Europa Stamp
The EUROPA issue (also known as Europa CEPT until 1992) is an annual joint issue of stamps with a common design or themeby postal administrations member of the European Communities (19561959), the European Conference of Postal andTelecommunications Administrations (CEPT from 1960 to 1992), then the PostEurop Association since 1993.
The first EUROPA issue dates back to 15 September 1956. The postal administrations of the founding six members of the ECSCissued stamps with a common design: a tower made up of the letters of the word "EUROPA" and surrounded by constructionscaffolding.

World Cup
The 2006 World Cup was hed in Germany. Two stamps were issued tocommemorate it. The first stamp shows several football fans. The second stampshows the Championship logo and a football.
Space Nation
The first stamp shows the Coronas1 Ukrainian Satellite. It carried UV and xray instruments to map the Sun and plasmamonitors to study the ionosphere and magnetosphere. The second stamp shows an astronaut welding in space. The thirdstamp shows the international effort to track the comet Galileo.
Europa
The theme of the 2006 Europa stamps was "Integration through theeyes of Young People." Ukraine's setenant shows individuals holdinghands on the Earth's continents.

The Mickiewicz Square is one of the main squares in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. The square, positioned between Lviv's old townand the southern part of midtown, was planned and created in the first half of 19th century, after the demolition of the old town'sdefensive walls in the late 18th century. At it's creation it was known as Ferdinand Square
