The last time it happened in the first half was the 2013 Apple Cup (3 points). WSU forced two turnovers to up its season total to 14 WSU held Stanford to 312 yards in total offense, the second-lowest total allowed by the WSU defense this season and the second-lowest total produced by Stanford this season PLAYER NOTES Darryl Paulo recorded his fifth sack of the season and 9.5 of his career Destiny Vaeao recorded his second sack of the season, forced second career fumble Robert Barber recorded his first career sack Shalom Luani recorded his first career fumble recovery Parker Henry recorded his first career interception, finished with a career-high 10 tackles Peyton Pelluer made 10 tackles, his third double-digit tackle performance this season Kache Palacio recorded his third sack of the season, 15 th of his career, a half sack from moving into the WSU career top-10 Powell hit from 46, 23, 47, 28 and 28 yards, had made eight consecutive field goal attempts. The 47-yarder matched his career- high, set earlier this year at Rutgers. Powell’s four first-half field goals marked the first time that had happened since Andrew Furney had four in 2011 at UCLA Powell tied a school record with five field goals, set by Drew Dunning in 2003 against New Mexico.
