inclement weather. Library closings are also posted to
Facebook. When school in SAD 17 is cancelled,
children’s programs are cancelled.
The library is open Monday, November 11, Veterans Day. The library will close Wednesday, November 27, at 5:00 pm. It is
closed Thursday, November 28, for Thanksgiving Day and be open, Friday, November 29.

Restaurant That Revolutionized Eating in America
Prepare a recipe, sample dishes, and discuss their
preparation. To select a recipe look through the library’s
copy or borrow one from another library. Call or stop by
information desk for more information. Participants must bring a prepared dish. Please bring containers to take home samples.

Enjoy books, computers, an educational games computer, toys, pretend play, puzzles, crafts, and more in our child and family-friendly space. Teen Room The library’s teen room is open after school, on
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday for students in
grades 7-12. Study, play games & LEGOs, use
library computers or WiFi, learn about coding with
Sarah, NML’s Teen Services coordinator.
Glass Case Displays at NML
Please enjoy two glass case displays. Norway Manufacturing features mill
artifacts from C.B. Cummings and Norway Historical Society. Women’s
Fashion and the Suffrage Movement: Fashioning Equal Rights for All displays old magazines, photos, and information
showing the progression of women’s fashion and the struggle for voting and equal rights. This is to acknowledge the 100th Anniversary of Maine Women’s
Suffrage this month.
