(2)General Instructions for Candidates:1) The admissibility o f application o f a candidates shall be subject to the following conditions

a) Only perm anent employee with minimum one year service may apply. Trainees are not eligible to apply.

b) Candidate shall fulfill the minimum qualification / experience / physical standards criteria as on 17.06.2019.

c) Candidate must have minimum “GOOD” CR rating for immediate preceding year upto a

maximum o f 03 years.d) Vigilance / Departm ental Clearance o f candidate shall be “Clear” .e) Consent for releasing o f the candidate without substitute from NCL in the event o f his/her

selection shall have to be agreed by the Subsidiary Company.g) Applications submitted directly to NCL shall not be entertained.

3) The selection o f candidate shall be subject to vacancy as per the approved M anpower Budget o f NCL for the year 2019-20.

4) The selection o f a candidate shall be based on the relative performance o f the candidate in the selection test to be conducted for assessment o f suitability o f candidates and also meeting physical standards as m entioned in the Notification after qualifying in the selection test. The selection test shall comprise o f 100 m ultiple choice questions, o f which 50 shall be on General Knowledge and 50 Trade related. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Syllabus and Model Questions for the selection test will be published in NCL W ebsite in the due course.

5) The date o f written examination and other details will be subsequently informed. Candidates will have to appear at the Centre/ Venue allotted to them by NCL for the written test, within command area o f NCL. No change in Centre/ Venue is perm issible and no application shall be entertained in this regard.

6) There will be no “W aiting Panel” for any post.7) Selection candidates could be posted in any Area/Unit o f NCL and they are also liable to be

transferred to the Areas o f NCL or any o f the Subsidiaries o f CIL at any tim e in their service period.8) Candidate shall note that at any stage o f selection or later, if a candidate is found indulging in any o f

the following misconduct, the candidature will be summarily rejected and disciplinary action as per the Certified Standing Orders will be initiated apart from any other legal course o f action as deemed

a) Im personating or procuring impersonation by person; orb) Resorting to any irregular means in connection to his/ her candidature during selection

process; orc) Using undue influence for his/ her candidature by any means; ord) Subm itting false certificates/ documents or suppressing any information at any stage; ore) Giving wrong information regarding his/her category (SC/ ST), while appearing in the

exam ination or thereafter;9) Canvasing at any stage will lead to disqualification o f the candidature.

10) Candidates are advised to apply much before the closing date for submission o f Application mentioned in this Notification to avoid delay for any reason, whatsoever.

11) NCL will not take any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the prescribed last dates on account o f any reasons beyond the control o f NCL.

12) Candidates shall be entitled to TA/ DA o f entitled class as per CIL TA Rules to be reimbursed by their parent subsidiary.

13) NCL m anagem ent reserves the right to modify/ alter/ restrict/ cancel the selection process, at its discretion w ithout assigning any reasons whatsoever. The decision o f the NCL management will be final and no appeal will be entertained in this regard.
