$35.00 Optional Miss Magnolia State Preliminary Pageant (Optional) By entering the Optional Preliminary Pageant part,you will be eligible to receive a title to compete in September of 2021 at the Little Miss Magnolia State Pageant finals for ages0-11 in Vicksburg OR the Miss Magnolia State Pageant in November 2021 for ages 12-up single, never married. Of course Mrs. contestantsshould be currently married living with their spouse to be eligible for the state pageant. By entering the preliminary pageant, if you win a title,you will be required to attend the state finals as well. You may view the state paperwork at www.missmagnoliastate.com under “applications”under September or November to be sure you want to compete.

Shannon” Fees are Non-Refundable. If you pay and then can not come, you may transfer or sell your spot to a friend until April 25,2021 if you get it approved through us first. After April 25, the fees are non-transferable.

The pageant will be held at the Dixie Theatre located at 106 S. Main Street, Ripley, Mississippi. The pageant will beginat 12 p.m. for ages 0-9 with Registration from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. For ages 10-up, registration will be from 2:30 to 3:30p.m. with the pageant beginning at 4 p.m. We have to break the pageant into two parts to observe social distancingguidelines. Audience might have to still wear masks, so make sure you bring one to be safe. We will see what requiredsafety measures of the venue are at that time of the year.

Due to social distancing and space, we can only accept the first 5 contestants in each division. Make sure you enterasap to reserve your spot. Check Facebook or email us to make sure there are spots left. We will update Facebook onceentries start coming in. Search “Your Hometown Mississippi Pageants” on Facebook.

Once you register, you may practice and there will just be three X’s across the floor for the modeling formation. Therewill be a group line up AFTER each age group competes for the side awards. Contestants are not judged on modeling.Just beauty, personality/projection and overall impression. This pageant will serve as a fundraiser to help get Miss MississippiHigh School, Savannah Shannon, to the Miss High School United States Pageant in Hershey, Pennsylvania in July.Thanks guys!

Please come as ready as you can. Make sure hair and make up is done before you get to the pageant. There will justbe limited space to slip dresses on so space will be tight. This pageant is just a FUN pageant. The winners will not makeappearances at our state pageants. Again this is just a FUN pageant.

Winners of each of the age divisions will receive the beautiful crown listed on front cover, satin banner and gift. Allalternates as well as EVERY contestant in the pageant will receive a participation crown and gift. Yes you heard that right,EVERYONE gets a crown and gift!

All Moms out there that have a contestant in the pageant may enter FOR FREE! If there are moms out there that wantto enter that do not have kids competing, you may enter for only $25. All moms may enter the Overall Package if they wishfor just $15 too.

We will offer a $15 Overall Package for all contestants. By entering this overall package, you or your child will be eligiblefor the Age Group Fashion Award, Age Group Photogenic Award, Overall Fashion Award and Overall Photogenic Award.

OVERALL PHOTOGENIC - Winner receives large crown, satin banner, and a trophy. (Only one photo per contestantand must be turned in at registration with name and age group on the back). One winner ages 0-9 and one winner ages 10-up.

There is only one phase of competition and that’s the on stage Beauty Competition - Since this is a Mother’s DayPageant, we are letting the attire be the Mother’s choice so Contestants ages 0-9 may wear pagaent dresses, Sundaydresses, flower girl dresses or Easter dresses. A dress will not help you win this pageant only the fashion award. Ofcourse our girls ages 10 and up WILL wear pageant dresses or formals. Mother’s may wear a gown,pants suit, nice dress, whatever youfeel most comfortable in. Hairpieces and faketeeth are NOT allowed at this pageant for ages 0-9. It is the parents choice formakeup application. Girls have been disqualified for wearing fake hair at the pageant.If you are disqualifed for breaking the rules, no refunds will be given. Don’t chance it!Just let your daughter be her adorable self.

Tickets will be sold at the door for family and friends who want to come cheer on theirfavorite contestants. Tickets are $10 per person for adults and kids. Kids 4 and under willbe admitted free. PARENTS MUST PAY. Mothers in the pageant of course do not have topay. Only contestants will be admitted free. All fees are non-fundable if contestants fail toshow for the pageant or decides to withdraw. We make sure all kids go home with awardsand goodies!!!

GENERAL INFORMATION

Our basic pageant IS NOT a contract pageant. You may enter the pageant for a day of fun and whenit’s over, that was that. If you want this pageant to serve as your preliminary pageant to attend ourstate pageant finals, you would need to enter the Optional $35 Miss Magnolia State PreliminaryPageant part of the pageant in addition to the regular pageant. This is ONLY for the contestants thatwish to go on to compete at the state pageant. To read over the state rules and fees, go towww.missmagnoliastate.com and click under “applications”. Then scroll to either September forages 0-11 or November for ages 12 and up. Also you will need to read the rules for the state pageantif you decide to enter this optional category to make sure you qualify. Contestants should have neverbeen married or had children to compete at Miss Magnolia State except for our Mrs. division ofcourse. Mrs. contestants must be currently married and living with their spouse. Again these are justthe rules for the Miss Magnolia State Pageant.

This is a pretty good deal for the kids and parents that like to sell extra tickets to win extra awards!Anyone selling 400 donation tickets which is $200, will get their $55 entry paid, $15 Overall PackagePaid, Receive a 5 inch ticket sales crown and a 3 foot tall trophy! The contestant that sell the MOSTtickets from the entire pageant, will be crowned the People’s Choice Queen and receive a muchlarger crown and gifts in addition to the 3 foot trophy. Tickets are on the next page to make copies of.Ticket sales are just optional. You do not have to do them at all. Some kids just love to try to win extraawards that way so we are offering it for those that do! We will have prizes that we will draw for fromall the tickets sold. Prizes will be announced at the pageant. (The $35 optional Miss Magnolia Stateprelim title is not included in the ticket sales offer.)

If you pay your $55 up front for your entry fee, you may continueto add to it to earn the ticket sales awards. For example, you paidyour $55 to enter on time, then over the months you turn in $145worth of ticket sales, that gives you the $200 total to get the TicketSales Award. All ticket sales must be turned in by April 25, 2021

for us to count towards the grand total for People’s Choice.
