ISU Survey on Lighting A research group at ISU from Interior Design, Gerontology, and Computer Science depart-ments has surveys for you to fill out on light-ing in your home. There is a slip to fill out in the Mail Room. They will contact you with the survey. Earn a $10 voucher at The Café!

Linguistic Missions Presentation Join us this Tue, Sep 24 at 6:30 pm in the GR. Mary and Devin O'Bannon will be here to discuss their interesting and sometimes adventurous mission work in Papua, New Guinea as they travel to remote villages to determine first languages, dialects and litera-cy rates for possible Bible translation and distribution. Refreshments will be served.

Gilbert High Students Visit School is in session, and the Gilbert High students are interested in meeting you and learning from a different generation. They are here for only 45 minutes in the Front Entry area. Wed, Sep 25, 8:15 am.

Hikaru from Japan We are in for a treat!! The Arts Midwest World Fest is bringing 2 international groups to Ames this year for performances in schools and C.Y. Stephens. They also encourage community exposure and involvement. North-crest is very excited to be a host for the first group, Hikaru, to visit us for an afternoon of sharing and learning about each other’s mu-sic and culture. The Golden K Singers will give them a sample of our music, and they in turn will give us theirs! Please come to the GR on Tue, Oct 1 at 4:30 for a social gather-ing with Hikaru from Japan! Let’s make them feel welcome in Iowa, in advance of their performance at Stephens on Fri, Oct 4!!
