Eestablished in August 22, 2012 under the Decree of the President of RF
on the basis of three leading universities of Stavpol region
• 12 Institutes in three cities of the region • about 30 thousand students from 45
territorial entities of the RF • 86 nationalities, 41 countries
• more than 1500 teachers • more than 200 areas of Bachelor,
Master, PhD programmes • 9 programmes related to tourism and
hospitality
North Caucasus tourism cluster the largest in Russia
• area of 170,700 square km • 7 Federal subjects • population about 10 mln • more than 90 nationalities • 50 % of rural population
• Caucasian Mineral Waters - the largest balneological (spa) resort in Russia
• skiing and hiking facilities (the highest peak in Europe, Elbrus, 5642 m)
• beach destinations (450 km of Sea coast)
2,5 million tourists per year are expected annually by 2025
12,5 billion euro will be invested to North Caucasus resorts by 2025
September 1, 2013 NCFU signed agreement with North-Caucasus Resorts Company
