Tiu-the bravest and god of war

Hoder- the blind son

c.Iron mittens with which he lifts mjollner

Loki, not a god, but a sometimes friend of the gods. He is a trickster, often causing mischief as well as solving problems. He is Odin’s blood brother until he betrays him.

Loki and his faithful wife, Sigyn. She stands by him even when he deserves it not.

Loki had three monstrous children that the Aesir feared.

Fenris, the savage wolf. Midgardsorm, the sea

serpent.

Frigga circled the world asking everything to swear an oath that it would never harm Balder.

To celebrate, a great feast was held to celebrate Balder’s health and safety, and everyone was having a marvelous time, except…….

….Hoder. He wasn’t having any fun because he couldn’t see Balder to throw anything at him. Not to worry. His good friend Loki would help.

Balder died instantly, and went to Niflheim.

Tiu went to retrieve him.

Hel would only give him up if...

Tiu loses his hand to Fenris

Loki’s punishment.

Death of Mimur

Fenris/Odin die.

Thor/Midgardsorm die.

Loki/Heimdall die.

Tiu is killed by a vicious dog.

The Universe was destroyed. And the only two beings left…..

were a man and a woman, Lif and Lifthrasur, who had slept through the entire struggle in the forest in a place where the devastation had not reached. They went on to repopulate the world. We are their descendents.
