Normalizing Audio Tracks when Burning Audio CD With Nero Burning ROM you can normalize audio tracks when burning them to Audio CD. You can normalize single or all tracks. Normalization adjusts the volume of the track itself, based on the average track volume. This way, unintentionally loud or quiet passages can be corrected automatically. If you want to normalize audio files without burning an Audio CD, we recommend using Nero WaveEditor. You can get it for free in the Download section on www.nero.com. To normalize audio tracks when burning an Audio CD, proceed as follows:

1. Insert an empty CD in your CD drive.

2. Select the Audio CD entry in the New compilation window. The selection screen is opened.

3. Choose the audio tracks to be burned to the Audio CD.

4. To normalize a single track:

1. Mark the track. 2. Click the Properties button.

The Audio track properties window is opened. 3. Click the Filter tab. 4. Select the Normalize check box. 5. Click the OK button to close the window.

5. To normalize all tracks at once:

1. Click the Burn button in the tool bar. 2. Click the Audio CD tab. 3. Select the Normalize all audio files check box.

6. Start the burn process. The burn process is carried out and the audio tracks are normalized.
