Transcript of nordic journey

Home of the light elves.

Their home was right by

Asgard in the

heaven. They were

beautiful creatures

and were considered the

“guardian angels” in

Norse Mythology. The

light elves were

certainly a good omen.

Alfheim

This was the home of the

Jotuns, the giants, who

lived in the

mountains. There was

a river called Ifingr

which separated

Jotunheim and Asgard.

The river was fast

flowing and therefore

never froze.

In Norse mythology,

Yggdrasil is an immense

tree that is central in Norse

cosmology the world tree,

and around the tree existed

nine worlds. It is generally

considered to mean “Ygg’s

Odin’s horse”.

Yggdrasil

Jormungander the midgard

serpent was a dragon of

limitless power, it’s coils

spanned across the earth and

as far as the eye could see.

Then it was cast far out into

the deepest oceans.
