1) No metal or hard plastic wheels. The shape of the contact surface of wheels must be flat with round edges. The shore hardness shall be 90 type A.*Registration for 10-year nora pro install® system warranty required.**Tested with conductive shoes.***Not tested.NOTE: Exact values may vary due to the test methods and tolerance between batches. The ASTM minimum requirement shall be achieved or exceeded.
nora® floor coverings have a production residue. This residue shall be removed (initial maintenance) before the flooring is used, otherwise it will attract dust and dirt.
1. Always use “wet floor” signs and/or caution tape when performing any wet cleaning.
2. Refer to MSDS for proper personnel protection requirements before using cleaning products.
3. The floor will be slippery when wet or contaminated with foreign materials. Promptly clean-up spills and any foreign materials, to maintain the slip resistant properties of the flooring.
4. Never use grit brushes, black or brown cleaning pads.
5. Use a 3MTM #5300 (blue) cleaning pad.
6. Do not allow any metal furniture or trash cans to be in contact with the wet floor.

1. Dust mop or vacuum the floor to remove dirt or grit.
2. Remove any adhesive residue.
3. Wet mop the floor using a diluted initial maintenance product (maintenance product reference chart provided) and allow the solution a minimum dwell time of 10 minutes.
4. Scrub the floor thoroughly with a floor scrubber using a 3MTM #5100 (red) cleaning pad for all noraplan® surfaces and a 3MTM #5300 (blue) cleaning pad and a high pH cleaner/degreaser for all norament® surfaces.
5. Wet vacuum the soiled solution, rinse the floor with clean water and allow to dry.
Areas with the use of nora® liquid wax for cold welding, scrub first with a 3M #5300 (blue) cleaning pad using a high pH cleaner (12-13pH). Pick up residue with wet vacuum and rinse with water.
The following procedures shall be performed by the facility.
Note: A general cleaning shall be performed a minimum of 72 hours after installation.

1. Remove loose residue (gather all litter from the floor and deposit into waste containers).
2. Damp mop the floor with an EPA registered disinfectant cleaner and allow to dry (check with SOP).
Perform daily maintenance between surgeries and prior to using the OR.
1. Remove loose residue (gather all litter from the floor and deposit into waste containers).
2. Before proceeding, follow Infection Control guidelines to remove blood.
3. Wet mop the floor with a diluted periodic maintenance product, and allow the solution a minimum dwell time of 10 minutes.
4. Thoroughly scrub the floor with a floor scrubber using a 3MTM #5300 (blue) cleaning pad.
5. Wet vacuum the soiled solution, rinse the floor with clean water and allow to dry.
6. Damp mop the floor with an EPA registered disinfectant cleaner and allow to dry (check with SOP).
7. Prior to replacing the OR table, make sure the floor is thoroughly dry underneath.
The end-of-day maintenance shall be performed after the cleaning “above the floor” is completed.
Note: Clean-up procedures shall be rigidly followed to contain and confine organisms in order to prevent contamination of the entire suite. Local SOP’s must be checked for specific procedures.
It is necessary to perform end-of-day maintenance, as floor disinfectants do not offer the same level of cleaning and emulsification.

Breathing equipment: Occupational exposure limits (OEL) are demonstrably maintained during application. Therefore, no respiratory protection is necessary. Protection of hands: The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation. Material of gloves: PVC or PE gloves. The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. As the product is a preparation of several substances, the resistance of the glove material cannot be calculated in advance and has therefore to be checked prior to the application. Penetration time of glove material: The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed. Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles. Body protection: Protective work clothing.

nora® floor coverings have a production residue.
