    The time system in Nooka watches are universal

    in the sense that they require no linguistic skills

    to master. This makes time telling more intuiti ve.

    expanding this concept to other projects is easy

    with a focus on intuitive design, but I felt a need to

    challenge the accepted norms for math literacy

    as a side-product of the communication i ssues

    presented in that process.

    There is a theory that the reason children in asian

    cultures assimilate mathematical concepts earlier

    than their western counterparts is linguistic

    Inspired by this idea, Matthew Waldman has

    devised a universal nomenclature for math.

    Hopefully avoiding the pitfalls of Esperanto, this

    system borrows from both eastern and western

    languages. Moreover, this new system is designed

    to facilitate different base number systems.

    The idea stems from the Eastern systematic use

    of numbers and the ease of educating children with

    these systems, compared to the western number

    system which has some counterintuitive parts

    which cause problems in comparison.

    Not being a mathematician or a physicist , I

    welcome anyone to test the concept presented

    on this page and provide feedback.
