How to Cite a Book using NoodleTools

Tip: Look up the book in RhinoCat!It’s easy to find information you need for your citation

AuthorTitle

Imprint = Place of Publication : Publisher, Year of Publication

Choose Book from the list of citition types

Click Continue.

NoodleTools defaultsto Print

If your book isn’t in print format,select the appropriate tab.

For instance, if you found the book on Google Books, choose Web Site

If you found your book in one of our subscription Databases, choose Database

Is your book on your iPad, Kindle or Nook?Choose eBook File

Fill in the relevant fields for your book.

Click Submit

Your bibliography with yournew Book citation

Edit, Copy or Delete your citation

Click on Footnote Format for the pop-up windowshowing the format for your first footnote

and subsequent notes.

Customize the example with the page number of your

quotation or paraphraseand NoodleTools will autofill the

footnotes above.

Copy and Paste footnotesinto your paper

Your ready-to-print bibliography

Tip: SAVE it to your Documents folder
