NON-PRECISION APPROACHES: V.O.R & N.D.B

OBJECTIVE: Explain what is a non precisión approach and how to fly a NDB and a VOR approach and interpretate the approach plate.

ELEMENTS: -What is a non-precision approach? It give you rnwy guidance but not G.S.

- Segments of an approach: 1)IAF (be prepared)WHN?2)intermediate (beguin our descent, nota all app have one)(WHEN?)3)FAF(beguin our final decent, time for non-prec app)(WHEN?)4) Missed segment (where we go miss if no rnwy in sight or to much deflestion)(WHEN?)

-Kinds of VOR approach: full procedure, DME arc, holding turn(why? To be stablished), teardrop, vectors to final. (only teach in clas proc turn, other while flying)

-how to identify the segment VOR: IAF over VOR or at a fix, FAF flip to/from, MAP time and speed.

-Kinds of NDB approach: The same like VOR.

-How to identify the fixes: IAF 180* of the needle intermidiate neddle to the nose, FAF DME/ flip of 180*, MAP time/DME/180*turn.
