NON-DEGREE PROGRAMS
The Exchange Student Program is designed for students from partner universities who want to undertakecoursework for from one to two semesters at PNU. To be eligible for the exchange program, studentsneed to be nominated by the international office at their home universities.
The Visiting Student Program is designed for students from universities that do not have a formal exchange agreement with PNU or that have the agreement but with a limited number of exchange openings. Visiting students can undertake coursework for one or two semesters at PNU but need to check with their home universities regarding credit transfer. Visiting students should pay all educationalexpenses.

• Free Korean language courses Exchange and Visiting students can take free Korean language courses according to their level of pro�ciency.
• On-campus housing (university dormitory residence) is available
• Buddy Program Buddy activities include airport pick-up, guidance in campus life and academic management, and other forms of personal assistance.
• Excursions and Events
Only for exchange students• Tuition and registration fee waiver
• Government scholarships of around US$2,500 (for a select number of students only)
• PNU exchange scholarship ranging from US$430 ~ US$860 (for a select number of students only)
• Special scholarship for those who take an Intensive Korean Language Courses
• Participation in PNU Summer School for minimal cost

In order to apply, exchange students first need to be nominated by the international office at their home universities. Once nominated, students will receive an emailwith information on how to complete their online application. Visiting students should contact at [email protected] to create account to fill out the application form. As part of the application, you will need to upload the following supporting documents:

The Department of Global Studies (DGS) is undergraduate program which is also open to exchange and visiting students thatprovides students with a challenging, interdisciplinary curriculum taught entirely in English and almost exclusively by native speakers.Included in the curriculum are courses in Korean and other East Asian studies, law, international relations, history, economics,political science, human rights, culture, business, art, regional studies, and religion. The department emphasizes classroomparticipation and activities, allowing international and Korean students to work together and develop lasting relationships.

PNU Summer School provides foreign students with an enriching cultural and educational experiencefor from three to five weeks. The Summer School consists of academic courses covering a wide rangeof subjects, Korean language course and various activities, field trips. A program fee including enrollmentfee, tuition fee, accommodation and activities is about US$1,800 to US$2,250. It is divided into two non-overlapping sessions:Session A(from late June to late July) and Session B(from late July to mid August).
